Gynecology &
Women’s Health
Consultant-led care across every stage of a woman’s life — from cycles and fertility to perimenopause, menopause and long-term hormonal health.

Care that follows
your whole life.
Women’s health is rarely a single issue at a single moment. Cycles, fertility, mood, energy, bone and cardiovascular health are connected, and they change across decades.
Our gynaecology service is built to follow that arc rather than treat each stage as unrelated.

Every consultation is with a specialist, not a generalist.
You can book directly, whatever stage you are at.
Private rooms and separate patient routing.
Common reasons
patients come to us.
You do not need a diagnosis before booking. Many patients arrive with a symptom they cannot place, and the first task is establishing what is actually going on.
Pain, heaviness, unpredictability or absent periods.
Pre-conception assessment and fertility questions.
Hot flushes, sleep, mood, energy and cycle change.
Fatigue, weight change, low mood or reduced libido.
Well-woman checks and preventive assessment.
When a plan elsewhere has not been fully explained.
Concerns we assess.
This is not a diagnostic list. It is where patients usually start, and each is assessed properly before anything is concluded.

Deciding what a symptom means is a clinical judgement — made with you, and explained to you.
What care
can involve.
Which of these applies to you — if any — is decided after assessment, not before it.

Consultation and assessment
A full history, examination where appropriate, and a clear explanation of what is being considered and why.

Diagnostic investigation
Bloodwork, hormonal panels and imaging, selected because a specific question needs answering.

Hormonal management
Considered individually, with the reasoning, alternatives and review schedule explained before starting.

Cycle and fertility support
Assessment and planning, with onward referral where a case needs care we do not provide.

Intimate health procedures
Discussed privately and only where there is a clear clinical indication.

Preventive and screening care
Well-woman assessment, with a schedule appropriate to your age and history.
Availability of any specific treatment is confirmed at consultation. We do not offer a treatment we cannot explain the reasoning for.

How your care
is planned.
Every patient follows the same four stages. What happens inside them is specific to you.
Consultation
Unhurried, with history and context taken seriously.
Assessment
Investigation chosen to answer a specific question.
Plan
Written, explained, and agreed with you before starting.
Review
Revisited against how you actually respond.
Used where it
changes the answer.
Equipment does not deliver care — physicians do. Each platform is used under consultant oversight, and only where it genuinely changes what we can assess or achieve.
Which of these applies to you is confirmed at consultation.
Assessment in the room, during the same appointment.
Objective measurement behind a hormonal plan.
Less discomfort and a faster return to normal.
Where the evidence supports them for a given case.
Who you
will see.

When more than
one specialty helps.
Hormonal change can affect sleep, mood, weight and skin. Where that is genuinely the case, your gynaecologist can involve the relevant Lavora consultant directly.
Not every patient needs this. Most women’s health cases are managed entirely within the specialty, and deciding otherwise is a clinical judgement made case by case.
When mood or sleep is part of the picture.
Bone, cardiovascular and metabolic health over time.
Skin and tissue change during hormonal transition.
Before
you book.
If your question is not here, message us on WhatsApp and a coordinator will answer it.
Do I need a referral?
No. You can book a gynaecology consultation directly, at any stage.
I am not sure this is the right specialty.
That is common, and it is our job rather than yours. Describe what you are experiencing and a coordinator will direct you correctly before you book.
What happens at a first consultation?
A full history, discussion of your symptoms and goals, and examination where appropriate. You leave understanding what is being considered and what happens next.
Will I see the same consultant each time?
Yes, wherever possible. Continuity matters in women’s health, and your record is shared across the clinic regardless.
Is my visit confidential?
Yes. Consultations are in private rooms, records are restricted to your care team, and patient routing is separate.
Do you accept insurance?
Coverage varies by insurer and plan. Contact us with your details and we will confirm eligibility before your appointment.
